Minto Reforms Act: In 1909,India Secretary John Morley and Barolat Lord Minto planned a set of administrative reforms aimed at appeasing India's nationalist leadership and weakening the national movement.This reform was known as the Morle-Minto Reform Act or the Council Act of 1909.
