Anwar Sadat was the first Muslim philosopher to receive the Nobel Prize.Anwar was accompanied by the third president of Egypt. He was in power from 1970 - 1981. After signing a peace treaty with Israel in 1978, he became the first Muslim to jointly win the Nobel Peace Prize with the Prime Minister of Israel.
