According to the data of 2016,the number of members of the United Nations is 193.Almost all the recognized countries of the world are its members.But notable exceptions are Taiwan (Republic of China),Vatican City.Also,some other unrecognized territories include Transnistria and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
